SSC Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2023: Final Result Declared

 


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final result for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination, 2023. Here are the key highlights:



Date of Publication: 05.04.2024

1. Total Candidates Selected: A total of 7046 candidates (6478 male, 568 female) have been shortlisted for the Medical Examination stage.


2. Posts Allocated: Candidates have been allocated to various posts including Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).


3. Category-wise Breakdown: The selection includes 166 female candidates and 1699 male candidates. The candidates have been selected based on merit and preference of posts/forces.


4. Tie-breaking Criteria: In case of tie, the selection was based on total marks in Paper-II followed by date of birth and alphabetical order of names.


5. Withheld Candidates: The result of 79 candidates has been withheld due to suspected malpractices/further scrutiny.


6. Provisional Selection: Some candidates' candidatures are provisional, and the concerned User Departments will verify their eligibility during nomination.


7. Future Communication: Candidates selected are advised to notify the User Department if they don't receive any correspondence within 6 months after the declaration of the result.

  The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board announced the results on May 9, 2024.The exams took place from March 25 to April 6, 2024, with practical and oral exams for JTS students on April 8.This year has seen a drastic change in the result as compared to earlier year. In 2024, a total of 8,59,967 students appeared for the SSLC Class 10 exams, out of which 6,31,204 students managed to pass, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.40%. Contrasting this with the previous year, 2023, where the pass percentage stood at 83.89%, it's evident that there has been a significant decrease in student performance.
