Recently, National testing agency (NTA) has notified for around 3900 seats in various universities (including IIT,NIT and various other prestigious universities) across India for admission in 4year Integrated teacher education programme (ITEP)-2024.This is a professional course for those aspiring to make their career in education sector. This much awaited reform was in the list of series of reforms the government is taking in education sector. The details of the said notice is provided as under:-

- The exam would be conducted in English,Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil,Telugu,and Urdu languages.
No.of seats available:- 6100.
Eligibility:-
a) Passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the NCET 2024 examination.
b) No age limit for the candidates.
c) The candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Government College to which they are desirous of taking admission.

Section 3 - General Test | This is a mandatory section. The General Test will have 28 questions out of which 25 questions need to be attempted. |
Section 4 – Teaching Aptitude | This is a mandatory section. Teaching Aptitude will have 23 questions out of which 20 questions need to be attempted. |
Note: In total, there will be 160 questions to be attempted out of 181 questions. There will be a choice of 03 questions in each subject (language/Domain-specific subject/Teaching Aptitude/General Test).
The examination may be conducted on multiple days in two shifts, depending on the number of Candidates and Subject choices.

How to apply??
1. Register online on the NCET portal to receive an Application Number.
2. Log in with the Application Number and password to complete the application form.
3. Provide personal details, educational qualifications, select university/program, and upload required documents.
4. Choose exam cities and submit the application form.
5. Pay the examination fee online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
6. Receive a Confirmation Page of the Application Form upon successful payment.
7. Follow NTA guidelines carefully to avoid disqualification.
