Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried men and women for Agniveer (MR) 02/2024 batch. This blog provides important details of eligibility criteria, important dates, vacancies details, and more.

- Batch: Agniveer (MR) 02/2024

Eligibility Criteria :

1.  Age : Candidate should be born between 1 November 2003 to 30 April 2007.

2.  Marital status : Only unmarried Indian men and women are eligible.

3.  Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10th class with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.

4.  Other Requirements : Candidates who are waiting for 10th board exam result can also apply if all other criteria are fulfilled.


terms of Service :

1. Selected candidates will be recruited for a service period of four years.

2. During the service period, candidates will get a fixed salary package with monthly allowance, risk allowance, dress allowance, and traveling allowance.

3. After completion of service period, candidates may be considered for permanent nomination, subject to the requirements and policies of the organization.


hiring process:

The selection process in the Navy is organized in the following stages:


1.  Exam Application: Candidates apply for Navy Recruitment Examination.

   

2.  Written Examination: Qualified candidates get the right to appear in the written examination. This examination is mandatory.

computer based entrance test (a) The question paper will be computer based with a total of 50 questions , each question carrying 01 mark.will be of (b) Question paper bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type ( multiple choice )). (c) The question paper will have two sections i.e. ' Science & Mathematics and General Awareness'. (d) Question paper of class 10 leveland the format of the question paper will be available on the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/ Available at https://agniveernavy.cdac.in. (e) The duration of the question paper will be 30 minutes .

   Negative Marking:- There is a provision of penalty for wrong answers, it means that negative marks will be deducted from the candidate for every wrong answer. In this , one fourth (0.25) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer .

3.  Physical Efficiency Test : Candidates successful in the written examination are called for Physical Efficiency Test.

   

4.  Medical Examination : Candidates successful in the physical efficiency test are called for medical examination.

   

5.  Final Selection:  After the medical examination, the final selection process takes place and the list of selected candidates is prepared.

   

6.  Training : Selected candidates are called for training in the Navy, which trains them in soft sciences and skills.
