The Indian Council of Agricultural research , Indian agricultural research institute (ICAR-IARI) has recently notified for the recruitment for some posts.The details of the vacancies has been given as under:

Important dates:

Date of publication:16-04-2024.

Last date to apply: 06-06-2024 (21 days from the date of publication).

Eligibility criteria:

The eligibility criteria for the two positions are as follows:

 Project Associate-I (01 position)

Essential Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Nematology / Plant Pathology / Entomology / Plant Protection/ Life Science/ Zoology.

Desirable:

- Experience of working with plant parasitic nematodes.

Skilled Field/Lab Worker (01 position) 

Essential Qualifications:

- 12th Pass.

Desirable:

- Minimum two years of experience in lab /field work of growing various crops and vegetables

- Experience of working with plant parasitic nematodes.

Age limit

The age limit is 35 years maximum, with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per ICAR rules.

Emoluments:

The emoluments for the positions are as follows:

- Project Associate-I: INR 25,000/- per month plus HRA[1].

- Skilled Field/Lab Worker: INR 21,215/- per month (consolidated).

Selection Process:

• Candidates meeting the essential qualifications and possessing proper certificates will be called for interviews.
• Shortlisting will be based on eligibility criteria, educational performance, and relevant research experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and invited for an online or in-person interview in Delhi

Documents Required:

Candidates invited for an interview must bring the application form, biodata, original certificates, attested photocopies of certificates, and a recent passport size photograph.

• Relevant enclosures as mentioned in the proforma should be attached.
