RRC CR Recruitment 2024: Notification, Exam Pattern, and Syllabus (English)

 

Attention aspirants, here is a good news waiting for you. A new vacancy notification is out under Government of India. Railway recruitment cell, Northern railway (RRC NR) ,has notified recently for the RECRUITMENT OF SPORTS PERSON AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA for Group-D Posts FROM OPEN MARKET ADVERTISEMENT IN NORTHERN RAILWAY FOR THE YEAR 2023-24. The details of the said notification is given below:-

Eligibility criteria:-

- Age Limit: 18-25 years as of 01/07/2024.

- Educational Qualification: Minimum requirement is passing the 10th or its equivalent exam.

- Sports Qualification: Achievements in recognized championships from 01/04/2021 to the notification date are considered.

- Validity of Achievements: Results from the current and immediate previous two financial years are accepted.

-Additional Requirements:Higher education certificates must also be uploaded if applicable.

- Documentation:Only specified documents such as birth certificates and sports achievement proofs are accepted.

- Adjudgement of Activeness:Activeness in sports is determined by performance during trials.

- Deadline:Ensure all requirements are met before the specified deadline.

Note:-

1.No relaxation in Education/Sports Norms, Age Relaxation shall be permissible.

2. Aspirants are advised to see the official notification through the link provided at the bottom to get full details of the norms as per different sports in detail.

Scheme of examination:-

- Screening & Scrutiny:Applications will be screened, and eligible candidates will undergo document verification before trials.

- Document Verification: Original documents of date of birth, education, sports achievements, etc., along with self-attested copies, must be presented.

- Trials & Assessment:Candidates found FIT in trials proceed to the next stage. Trials assess game skill, physical fitness, and coach's observations, with FIT candidates scoring 25 marks or more.

- Recruitment Committee Assessment: FIT candidates undergo assessment by the Recruitment Committee based on sports achievements and educational qualification, with a maximum of 60 marks.

- Final Merit List:Prepared based on total marks awarded by both Trial and Recruitment Committees.

- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must achieve a minimum of 60 marks for Level 1 posts.

- Preference: If candidates secure the same marks, preference is given to younger candidates.

- Playing Kit: Candidates must bring their own playing kit for trials.

- Medical Examination:Recommended candidates must pass medical fitness standards prescribed by Northern Railway Administration.

Application fee:-

- Application fee is to be paid online; RRC does not accept offline payments.

- Fee refund of Rs. 400/- available for candidates who appear in the Trial.

- For all candidates except SC/ST, Women, Minorities, and EBC: Rs. 500/-

- SC/ST, Women, Minorities, and EBC candidates: Rs. 250/-

- Minorities must upload a 'self-declaration' during online application.

- EBC candidates must upload income certificate or BPL Card/Izzat MST.

- Income certificate should be issued by District Magistrate or equivalent.
