Required Qualification:

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 30 years of experience in C&M (Purchase, Contract & Store).

- Candidates should have retired at E6 level equivalent or above of NTPC.

Job Description:

- Coordinate with user departments and manage deposit work awards.

- Amend corporate awarded packages and procure from local cooperative societies.

- Handle services for hospital procurement and local functions, including Independence Day, Republic Day, VIP visits, medical camps, GeM, and miscellaneous service contracts.

- Manage post-award activities, placement of Purchase Orders (POs) against rate contracts, PO amendments, deviations, and vendor code/contract closing.

- Address settlement of old standing cases, audit para replies, and prepare quarterly reports.

- Familiarity with C&M activities, delegation of power, circulars, and work in areas such as store receipt and inspection, risk management, and custody of NTPC combined cycle and thermal power plants.

Age Limit:

- Maximum age of 64 years.

Period of Engagement:

- The engagement is for a period of 6 months.

- This role is designed for retired executives who possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience in the C&M domain.

- The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of procurement and contract management activities, ensuring efficient operations in various critical areas.

- The position requires someone who is well-versed in the delegation of power and has significant knowledge of NTPC’s operational procedures and circulars.
