Pattern of exam:
- b) Objective type, multiple-choice questions will be asked in both papers.
- c) Negative marking of 0.25 marks for Paper-I and 1 mark for Paper-II for each wrong answer.
- d) Candidates can bring Slide–Rule, Logarithm Table, and Steam Table for Paper-II only.
- e) Tentative Answer Keys will be available for candidates to submit representations within a specified time.
- f) Marks scored will be normalized for determining final merit and cut-off marks.
- g) No provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of scores.
- h) Examination dates are tentative and subject to change, notified through the Commission's website

How to apply?
1. One-Time Registration (OTR):
- Visit the official SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in) and generate OTR.
- OTR from the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be valid.
2. Online Application:
- Fill out the application form online on the SSC website.
- Follow detailed instructions provided in Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of the notice.
3. Photograph Requirements:
- Capture a clear photograph with a full-frontal view, without cap or spectacles.
- Ensure good light and plain background.
- Position yourself directly in front of the camera at eye level.
4. Signature Upload:
- Scan signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB).
- Signature dimensions should be approximately 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
- Blurred signatures will result in rejection.
5. Submission date:
- Last date and time for submission: April 18, 2024, 2300 hours.
- Submit well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
6. Application Fee:
- Fee payable: Rs 100/-.
- Women candidates and those belonging to specific categories are exempted.
- Payment modes: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit/Debit card.
7. Fee Verification:
- Verify successful payment through SSC.
- Incomplete fee payments will result in summarily rejected applications.
8. Refund Policy:
- Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- It cannot be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
