Important Dates:

- Last Date of Application: Within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement (15-05-2024).


 Vacancy Details:

- JRF: 10 vacancies.

- RA: 01 vacancy.

  Note: Vacancies may vary


Eligibility Criteria:

- JRF:

  - Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.

 - Age Relaxation:

  - 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST).

  - 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC)

  - Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in Psychology/Applied Psychology with NET qualification

- RA:

  - Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.

  - Age relaxation: 

    -5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste          (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST).

    - 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward         Classes (OBC)

  - Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Psychology.


Stipend:-

The stipend details for the fellowship positions at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), Ministry of Defence are as follows:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

   - Essential: Rs. 37,000/- per month for the 1st and 2nd year

   - Post Graduation in Psychology/Applied Psychology: Rs. 42,000/- per month for the 3rd year if retained as JRF

   - HRA (House Rent Allowance) admissible as per government rules

   - Contingency grant up to a maximum of Rs. 15,000/- per annum for 2 years, increased to Rs. 20,000/- per annum for subsequent years


2. Research Associate (RA):

   - Essential: Rs. 67,000/- per month during the entire tenure

   - HRA (House Rent Allowance) admissible as per government rules

   - Contingency grant up to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- per annum during the entire tenure


The stipend amounts mentioned are subject to the terms and conditions specified in the advertisement and as per the rules of the Government of India. Candidates selected for these fellowship positions will receive the stipend as per the mentioned rates and allowances.

Fee exemption:- SC/ST and OBC exempted.

Selection Procedure:

- Selection based on qualifications and experience

- Contingency grant provided as per government rules

- Enclose photocopies of educational qualifications (XII, graduation,PG marksheet and Ph.D degree) and age proof documents (X certificate/ marksheet) along with NET Certificate.

- Mention "Application for the post of [JRF/RA]" on the envelope
