Eligibility criteria:-

The eligibility criteria for candidates applying for the post mentioned in the context include the requirement to be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently. The specific requirements for meeting this criterion are as follows: - Must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject, OR - Must have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in a non-language subject, OR - Must have passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a school or educational institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government, OR - Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.

Age and age relaxation:-

The minimum and maximum age for the different posts are as follows: 1. Caretaker: - Minimum Age: 21 years - Maximum Age: 38 years 2. Ayurvedic Assistant (Ayush Assistant): - Minimum Age: 18 years - Maximum Age: 38 years 3. Homeopathic Assistant: - Minimum Age: 18 years - Maximum Age: 38 years 4. Unani Assistant (Ayush Assistant): - Minimum Age: 18 years - Maximum Age: 38 years 5. Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant under Director of Fisheries: - Minimum Age: 21 years - Maximum Age: 38 years 6. Amin under EIC, Water Resources: - Minimum Age: 21 years - Maximum Age: 38 years.

Age Relaxation: - Candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST, and all women candidates are eligible for a relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit. - Candidates belonging to the PwD category are eligible for a relaxation of up to 10 years in the upper age limit. - Ex-Servicemen are eligible for relaxation based on the total period of service rendered in defense service. - PwD candidates in the ST & SC category are entitled to a cumulative age relaxation of ten years over and above the normal relaxation specified for the category. - Candidates falling under more than one category are eligible for only one benefit of age relaxation as per the rule which is most beneficial to them. Note for Ex-Servicemen: Once an Ex-Serviceman has joined the Govt. Service in the civil side after availing the benefit as an Ex-Serviceman for re-employment, the Ex-Serviceman status for the purpose of re-employment in Govt. Jobs shall cease to exist. Educational qualification:-

Candidates possessing +2 Science qualification will also be eligible to apply for the post. If candidates possessing +2 vocational (Fisheries) will not be available, then candidates with +2 Science qualification will be considered for selection. Amin: +2 Arts/Science/Commerce or such other qualification as are equivalent to +2 examination with a certificate on basic Computer Skill from a recognized institution.
