A new vacancy has been published for the aspirants who are trying to make their career in the armed forces of India. Recently, Naval Dockyard  released the above said vacancies for enrollment of apprenticeship training at dockyard apprentice school, Mumbai, in designated trades.There are number of posts as per the trade as per the official notification.The details of the said vaacncy is given as under:

- Vacancy Details:

  - Total Vacancies: 301

  - Distribution: SC-30, ST-27, OBC-57, UR-187

- Eligibility Criteria:

  - Qualification: ITI (NCVT/SCVT) for ITI Trades, Std VIII pass for Rigger, SSC/Matric/Std X pass for Forger & Heat Treater

  - Age: Minimum 14 years, no upper age limit

  - Physical Standards:

  - Height: Minimum 150 cm

  - Weight: Not less than 45 Kg

  - Chest Expansion: Not less than 5 cm

  - Eye Sight: 6/6 to 6/9 (corrected with glasses)

  - External & Internal Organs: Normal

- Medical Standards:

  - Candidates shall be medically examined and declared fit as per Rule 4 and Schedule II of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

  - Medical fitness certificate provided by a Government Hospital shall be submitted before being engaged as an apprentice.

  - Previous Training: Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible

- Age and Age Relaxation:

  - No upper age limit

  - Minimum age: 14 years for non-hazardous trades, 18 years for hazardous trades

- Educational Qualification:

  - ITI (NCVT/SCVT) for ITI Trades

  - Std VIII pass for Rigger

  - SSC/Matric/Std X pass for Forger & Heat Treater

- Selection Procedure:

  - Preliminary Merit List based on application

  - Written Examination (OMR based)

  - Interview

  - Final Merit List

- Exam Syllabus:

  - General Science: 35 marks

  - Mathematics (Numerical Aptitude): 35 marks

  - General Awareness: 30 marks
