Eligibility:
- Citizenship:Must be a citizen of India.
- Mental Fitness:Must be of sound mind.
- Marital Status: Must not have more than one living spouse.
- Educational Qualifications (General):
- Passed MIL Odia up to ME standard.
- Candidates not passing Odia up to M.E Standard can apply but must pass the examination within three years from joining.
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Arts/Science with Bachelor's degree in Education from a recognized university.
- TGT candidates must have passed OSSTET/OTET-Paper-II or CTET-Paper-II.
- Candidates from universities outside Odisha must provide authenticated proof of equivalency and NCTE recognition during document verification.
- Provide percentage of marks obtained or CGPA/OGPA with numerical equivalence. No round-off of percentage marks will be accepted.
- Date of result declaration/issuance of Mark Sheet is considered the date of acquiring qualification.
- Language Proficiency: Competence in teaching both English and Odia medium is required for all teaching posts.
- Computer Knowledge:Desirable for all teaching posts.
-Ineligibility: Candidates not meeting prescribed academic/professional qualifications, experience, or not passing OSSTET/CTET- Paper-II/OTET-Paper-II need not apply. OAVS will not be responsible for cancellation of candidature.
Essential educational Qualification:
Principal:
- Master's degree with at least 45% marks.
- B.Ed. from NCTE-affiliated institution.
- Experience: Analogous post or Principal in Govt. organization, Vice-Principal, Asst. Education Officers, or equivalent.
PGTs:
- Integrated postgraduate course or Master's degree with 50% marks.
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.).
- Proficiency in Odia and English medium.
TGTs:
- Integrated degree course or Bachelor's degree with 50% marks.
- B.A B.Ed./B.Ed. from NCTE-affiliated institution.
- Proficiency in Odia and English medium.
Art Teacher:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts.
- Proficiency in Odia and English medium.
PET:
- Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education.
- Proficiency in Odia and English medium.
Computer Teacher:
- B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Competence to teach in English & Odia medium.
NOTE: Candidates having Special B.Ed or D.Ed are not eligible for the post of PGTs and TGTs.

- Relaxations for In-service Candidates (except Principals):
- Up to 5 years for teachers working under State/Central Govt./Autonomous Organization.
- Experience for Principal:
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as Principal in Aided/Semi-Government/Private Institutions affiliated to CBSE/ICSE, with specific conditions outlined for document verification and salary proof.
- Cancellation of Candidature:
- Candidature may be canceled if false information is provided or does not conform to eligibility criteria.
- PH Candidates:
- Cases referred to Appellate Authority for re-examination.
- Ex-servicemen:
- Ex-servicemen can apply without age limit, but their eligibility hinges on adhering to specific age relaxation rules outlined in GA Deptt. Notification No. 22586/Gen DT. 16.10.1985.

How to apply?
1. Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria specified for the positions advertised.
2. Online Registration: Visit the OAVS website at https://www.oav.edu.in and access the online registration link.
3. Instructions Review: Carefully read the instructions provided under 'HOW TO APPLY' on the website's main page, as well as the detailed instructions on the online application form.
4. Exclusive Online Application: Apply only through the online registration link provided on the OAVS website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
5. Document Submission: No documents need to be sent to OAVS in connection with the online application process.
6. Application Submission Period:Online submission of applications will be permitted within the specified time frame.
7. Application Deadline: Ensure to complete both Step-I (registration) and Step-II (submission of application) by the deadline, which is 30/04/2024 up to 5:00 PM.
8. Application Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online (Step-III) through Debit Card/Net Banking using the SBI e-Pay / SBI collect system of State Bank of India (SBI). The deadline for fee submission is 02/05/2024 up to 11:45 PM.
9. Required Information: While applying online, have the following information readily available:
- Valid and active Email ID (for at least one year from the application date).
- Valid and active Mobile Number (for at least one year from the application date).
- Recent passport size color photograph of the full face (front view) in jpg/jpeg format, not older than 3 weeks, with a file size up to 100kb.
- Signature file in jpg/jpeg format, up to 100kb in size.
- Ensure all mandatory fields, including online payment of processing and examination fees, and valid email ID, mobile number, photograph, and signature, are completed, as applications without these will not be registered.
